Senior Scout
About The Role
Leicester City Football Club are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Scout to join the Club’s Senior Recruitment team to identify, monitor and report on prospective players demonstrating attributes that are valued within the Club’s recruitment strategy.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working within an elite sports and scouting environment and be able to demonstrate competence using scouting technology and software to support analytical expertise. The role would also best suit a candidate based in the London area, or who has the ability / willingness to relocate.
The core responsibilities of the role include:
-Monitoring and identifying players through live scouting / data analysis and video for the Senior and Development teams as requested by the Head of Player Recruitment / Head of Technical Scouting.
-Maintain a personal up-to-date monitor list comprised of players that have been viewed live or on video to be presented to the Head of Recruitment when required.
-To feedback to the Head of Recruitment with up-to-date market intelligence and recommendations based on data review, live and video scouting.
-Collate information and submit designated reports on the Club’s bespoke database in a prompt and timely manner.
-To attend all relevant in-service training and scouts meetings, both internal and external.
